Blackfish Gear is excited to announce the addition of seven new professional bass anglers to the pro team for the 2022 season. These anglers include Anthony Gagliardi, Austin Felix, Joseph Webster, Jonathan Kelley, Nikki Jo Hatten, Noah Schultz and Zach Goutremout. These anglers are all proven in their fishing capabilities and exhibit incredible character, and Blackfish Gear is excited to have them on the pro team.

Blackfish Gear Pro Staff Director, Matt Johnson, had this to say about the new additions: “Anthony Gagliardi (Bass Pro Tour) needs no introduction as he’s been on—and won—some of the most prominent stages of competitive bass fishing. We are excited to add not just his expertise but also his experience to our team!”

“Austin Felix (Bassmaster Elite Series) is catapulting into the bass fishing scene, no doubt about it! He’s been around bass fishing most of his life, but he’s making an impact on the professional fishing world. As a Minnesota native, it’s fun to watch him grow into the angler he’s become, and we have a sneaking suspicion he’ll become an even better angler!”

“Joseph Webster (Bassmaster Elite Series) is a savvy veteran of the sport, and even though he’s a rookie to the Bassmaster Elite Series, he’s already “been there, done that” to some degree. Joseph hails from Alabama, and bass fishing is in his blood, although our team did get him out ice fishing this winter, and he might consider that as a career path at some point (joking, of course).”

“Jonathan Kelley (Bassmaster Elite Series) is another rookie on the BASS Elite scene, but he’s a massive student of the game. He might be young, but his passion and drive are contagious, and he’ll be one to watch this season!”

“Nikki Jo Hatten (Bassmaster Opens) has been a member of the Blackfish Gear family for a few years, but now she has taken a plunge into the pro side this season. Do you think you’re obsessed with bass fishing? Nope, Nikki Jo sets the bar! We are very proud of her accomplishments, and her fun-loving attitude is welcomed with open arms!”

“Noah Schultz (Bassmaster Opens and Champions Tour) is becoming a legend in MN, as well as the Midwest, and you will see his name for years to come. He’s at the podium more than he’s not and we’re excited to have him join the team as another angler from our home state!”

“Zach Goutremout (Bassmaster Opens) is another young angler that joins the team, and bass fishing is in his blood. Already an accomplished angler at such a young age, we believe Zach will be a name you’ll recognize for years to come!”

This impressive list of new pro staff members is added to an already star-studded line-up of bass anglers on the Blackfish Gear pro team. Brandon Card, Chad Grigsby, Jamie Hartman, Jim Moynagh, Luke Clausen, and Mike Huff are just a handful of names that also grace the list of Blackfish Pros.
